Our mission is to evangelize, and disciple inmates, resulting in spiritual awakening and an intimate love relationship with Jesus Christ thus empowering them for extended incarceration or a return to society. The T.I.M.E. for Christ Jail Ministry has funded the protestant Chaplain within the Bexar County Jail for over 50 years.
This ministry oversees a volunteer team of 80 individuals providing evangelism, discipleship, Bibles, Biblical literature, mentoring and guidance to an ever changing inmate population of ~5,000 at any given time. T.I.M.E. stands for Teaching, Intercession, Ministry and Evangelism.
